After you have entered your user name and password, depending on the Institution's option, the Select Institution screen may or may not be displayed.  The software has the ability to operate multiple Institutions.  The Select Institution feature can be activated during the installation process.

 

 

To select an institution, highlight it by clicking on the appropriate row in the Institution grid and pressing the Select Institution button. To speed up the selection and bypass the Select Institution button, you can also double-click on the appropriate row in the Institution listing.

 

The Institution selection option can be used to close out the active database at the end of a calendar year. At the end of the year, the production database can be copied to an archive bank. The  production database can then be purged of old, closed cases. This improves the performance of the production system and makes old cases available on a year by year basis.
