1. Branch Module - Reopen Case
The Branch module Reopen case functionality is being used for two different purposes.
1. The Reopen and revise a case not yet being processed by the BackOffice
2. To see a list of pending cases waiting on processing and review their information.
It was brought to our attention that when reopening a case, the Branch user assigned to the case was being updated with the user reopening the case. This is valid in scenario #1, where a potentially different user alters the case and therefore takes responsibility for the revised information.
However, it scenario #2, where the information is not intended to be changed, the original user responsible for the case should be maintained.
To accommodate both scenarios, a new option was created. By choosing the appropriate button, the user makes their intend clear. If a case is being opened for review, the information reviewed is being treated as read-only and no changed, intentional or unintentional are being saved.
2. Allow entry of future dates in wizard
By default, the wizard protects from accidentally keying in or selecting future dates since most dates refer to the past. But since there are instances where the date does refer to a future date such as Pre-Authorized transactions, an option was added to allow for the entry of future dates.
Note: This removes the protection for accidental future dates as it applies to all date entries.
3. Created RegE Monitor secure mailer functionality
Several clients are moving to hosted Office 365 Outlook mail functionality which requires more secure mailer functionality. A new mailer was added that utilizes SSL and TLS1.3.
