The Interest Refund will provide the customer with credit for any unearned interest due to the dispute transactions.

 

 

The example shown takes the money being refunded from an example expense account of the main branch. Should it be desired to obtain the interest refund from the branch level, the GL side of the transaction will need to be changed to use the -1 special data entry value in the Branch field.
