Investment Assumptions

Top  Previous  Next

IRR-Solutions® II relies upon externally described cash flows for the investment area. These cash flows are expected to have their prepayment assumptions built into the cash flows. In these cases, no prepayment assumptions should be made on the investment accounts.

If a Bank is using FinSer's Portfolio or Cash Flow service, the prepayments, which are built into the cash flows, will be displayed in the prepayment tab.

It will depend on which third party interface the bank is using as to whether the prepayments are included.  The following list of current third party interfaces shows if prepayments exist in the interface file the bank receives from their provider.

The interfaces that do include prepayments, with the exception of FinSer's Portfolio/Cash Flows, will not show on the Prepayment tab but they are included in the results.

The interfaces that do not include prepayments will need to be setup by the user in the Prepayments tab.
