The Key Ratio Variance-Budget report contains many of the standard ratios bank's use in determining their financial status. The report provides you the ability to compare key ratios to budget as well as to last year's ratios for both MTD and YTD data.
The following list of ratios are included in the report. If you want to see the equation for each ratio, click on the ratio below to go to Appendix A. Appendix A shows dozens of common ratios and their equations. There may be times when you will have additional accounts added or subtracted to the equation. You can adjust the ratio by including those accounts when you assign the account ranges in the report.
The Variance column of the report is a simple subtraction of one column from another. See the example below:
In Variance column 3, column 2 is subtracted from column 1 In Variance column 5, column 4 is subtracted from column 1 In Variance column 8, column 7 is subtracted from column 6 In Variance column 10, column 9 is subtracted from column 6
The Current and Last Yr columns use data from your host GL called: Cur Yr. MTD Bal. and Pre Yr MTD Bal.
The Budget columns of the report come from IRR-Solutions® II and what you have designated as your default budget.
